Telehealth Licensed Psychotherapist
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Manage a case load of therapy clients. Assess psychological and sociological background of clients utilizing the DSM-5 criteria. Conduct evidence based therapeutic interventions to assist clients in reaching therapeutic goals. Full-time caseload of 25+ clients. Part-Time caseload has a minimum of 10 active clients. 1 year commitment required due to care coordination of clients.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct interviews during the admission process and produce Diagnostic Assessments utilizing the DSM-5
- Develop and keep up-to-date individual treatment plans for each client on their caseload.
- Provide direct therapy services to clients and families and individuals with a DSM diagnosis.
- Complete progress notes on clients that adhere to goals and objectives of Treatment Planning within 24 business hours of session.
- Enter progress notes within the mandated timeframe into the assigned electronic medical record system that adheres to approved progress note standards.
- Participate in contract compliance activities, including monitoring and audits, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings for transfers and/or as needed.
- Participate in group consultation meetings as scheduled.
- Provide a minimum of 25-Fulltime/10-Part-time billable hours of services weekly.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s degree in counseling or behavioral health field and at least 4 years of experience in the behavioral health field.
- Certification in the United States as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) or Licensed Marriage Family Therapist (LMFT).
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point) and ability to use/learn electronic time-keeping program and an electronic medical record. Possess effective organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Must be able to work sensitively and effectively with individuals of diverse educational, socio-economic, and cultural backgrounds.
- Malpractice insurance up to 3 million minimum.
